Unbalanced MPPTs, secondary unused on all but one inverter in How-to Posted November 20, 2017 Hi! Having an issue with unbalanced MPPTs using the Fronius Primo in version 6.41. I've read all the posts I can find but can't seem to crack it.I'm trying to create a system that uses:- 6 Primo 15.0-1, each with 4 strings of 14 on MPPT1, with MPPT2 unused.- 1 Primo 10.0-1 with 2 strings of 14 on MPPT1 and 1 string of 10 on MPPT2.So I set up:- Sub-array #1, Primo 15.0-1 with 6 MPPT inputs and "secondary unused" selected, and 24 strings of 14- Sub-array #2, Primo 10.0-1 with 1 MPPT "main" input, and 2 strings of 14- Sub-array #3, Primo 10.0-1 with 1 MPPT "secondary" input, and 1 string of 10And I keep getting a "you have 6 main inputs in excess" error. The thing is, it doesn't give me this error if I delete Sub-arrays #2 and #3, or if I delete Sub-array #1, only when all three are used.Any idea what's going on?

Hi! Having an issue with unbalanced MPPTs using the Fronius Primo in version 6.41. I've read all the posts I can find but can't seem to crack it.
I'm trying to create a system that uses:
- 6 Primo 15.0-1, each with 4 strings of 14 on MPPT1, with MPPT2 unused.
- 1 Primo 10.0-1 with 2 strings of 14 on MPPT1 and 1 string of 10 on MPPT2.
So I set up:
- Sub-array #1, Primo 15.0-1 with 6 MPPT inputs and "secondary unused" selected, and 24 strings of 14
- Sub-array #2, Primo 10.0-1 with 1 MPPT "main" input, and 2 strings of 14
- Sub-array #3, Primo 10.0-1 with 1 MPPT "secondary" input, and 1 string of 10
And I keep getting a "you have 6 main inputs in excess" error.
The thing is, it doesn't give me this error if I delete Sub-arrays #2 and #3, or if I delete Sub-array #1, only when all three are used.
Any idea what's going on?
