I wondered if it possible to see somewhere what formula PVsyst uses to estimate the (optimal) tracker angle for a single-axis tracker system given the relevant inputs such as solar position, table geometry and pitch? The purpose would be to calculate the assumed optimum angles used in PVsyst, and compare that to what the trackers are doing in operation based on the tracker supplier's software/algorithms.
Any papers, reports etc. as support for this discussion would also be appreciated.
