When using version 5, I would find that for a single axis tracking system, i would turn backtracking off w/ electrical loss acc. to strings set to 50% (half cut module) and see a yield advantage of around 1% when compared to the same system with backtracking turned on..
Now working in 6.6.2, using the same project file as I used in version 5, I now see a DISADVANTAGE for backtracking turned off when compared to backtracking turned on.
Specifically, the "Shadings: Electrical Loss acc. to strings" has greatly increased in version 6.
Is this due to updates mentioned in regards to shading loss for tracking applications for version 6.6?
