  1. Yes, Indeed same will help a lot. Because in almost all project contracts are using the temperature correction for the %PR calculation and it would be helpful to have it directly in the report. As of now need to give values separately.

  2. Hello,

As for simulation with terrain, it's not possible to run batch simulation for different tilts because if we change tilt angle on terrain, azimuth will also get change.

Also if consider Helios3D for shading file having terrain and layout, It's better to have file for any tilt and after import in PV Syst change tilt in Near shading seen.

  3. Hi,

As I am simulating Bi-Facial system with PVH single axis tracker and configuration is 2 high modules in landscape. The spacing in tracker between both modules is 170mm to reduce shadow effect on the rear side. For Module size 1.978*0.997 If we keep module spacing same (0.17 Mtrs.) then collector width should be as below:

    0.997+0.17+0.997 = 2.164 Mtrs.

But as per near shading layout its 2.33. Find image. its quite confusing.

It seems in simulation spacing considered 2 times, where space should be between the modules not outer side of modules.

Please correct if I am wrong.

  4. Hi,

First of all both the reports having different weather parameters and in your simulation losses after inverter not considered however correct the same.

As both reports generated with different Versions hence there may be l little difference but not so more.

  5. There may be possibility that in older version "Lower temperature for Absolute Voltage Limit" set @ 0°C however as per attachment "PV Syst" Set temp. is -10°C resulting 1020V which is exceeding inverter maximum input voltage and not allow to take 20modules in series due to same.

Hence go to Project → Project Setting → Design Conditions and set the "Lower temperature for Absolute Voltage Limit" value as weather file.

    Also find below details.
