  1. Thanks for your best reply.

Can you tell me at which location i have to enter my

row to row pitch? In backtracking what is pitch & coll. width shows.

In near shadings i have to draw all modules?? or tracker blocks?? because for 125MW plant contains lots of trackers. please give detailed explanation.

Can anyone explain this?? I too have similar issues.

  2. Thanks Andre.

Can you explain this to me?

"Now since the version 6.36, it is possible to specify a representative sub-part of the system (for example the input of one only inverter), and during the simulation the shading calculation will only be performed on this sub-system, but applied to the full system. This concerns the "Linear shadings calculation", and the calculation "According to modules strings". This tool doesn't apply to the "Module layout" calculation."

How can I simulate the input of only one or two inverters? I am not able to find the option. It is a single axis tracking plant.

  3. Ok. Now I modelled a shading scene for full 50MW using about 192000 nos. of modules. But whenever I try to calculation shading factor table, the program stops responding. What could be the possible mistake I am doing? Is it because I am trying to model a very large system? Is it possible to do modelling for a 2 MW block using two inverters per block keeping the system size as 50MW?
  4. I have designed a 50MW single axis tracking plant using two sub-arrays (with 310WP modules and 315WP modules). Now I want to create a shading scene for it. How can I do it?

Whenever I try to create a shading scene for 1MW block it gives error saying :shading area is lower than pv modules area".

  5. I have made a 3D scene for single axis tracking PV array. It gives an error "You have deifned a tracking plane in the shadings scene. All tracking parameters should match the orientation definition. The axis orientations don't match". However, I have selected Tracking array: horizontal axis E-0 for PV planes. What could be the possible reason for this error?
  6. Hi,

I have to design a rooftop for a site in Northern Hemisphere (India). Roof is north facing. Please suggest how I can do simulation in PVsyst for the same. I am not able to select north direction in PVsyst. Also, I m concerned about the generation.
