  1. Hello PVsyst team,

I am making a simulation from a site, in which I would like to import the topography of the terrain to PVsyst.

I am importing csv (separates with comas) file to create a ground data (x,y,z) from an Autocad topography curves file.

Pvsyt seems to recognize the file even it is sucessfully imported to a 3D Scene, however:

-Continue to work with scene truns imposible.

-The draw that the 3D Scene saws doesn´t match the reality.

    Any help ??

    Thank in advance

  2. Hi,

I am dimensioning/asseting a "self-consumption" solar PV installation with already hourly consumes.

With PVsyst you can simulate a weekly consumption and compare with the energy delivers in the grid and user´s consumption in monthly amount of energy.

However, as I have strong diffences in electrity hourly, seasonal and weekly tariff, I would like to have a file with hourly values regarding the energy produced, users and grid energy produced.

Is there a procees to save time doing this works??

Do anybody have the experience with this type of installation and have a special methodolody ??.... and wants to share with the rest humans in this forum.

    Thank you in advance.

    Manel

  3. Hi Everybody,

I would like to compare the inverter´s efficiency difference between a inverter inside a building or outdoor.

Caused by the increasing of the thermal conditions, I have tried to simmulated these two difference. I have introduce in miscellaneous tools -> inverter temperature for nominal power evaluation -> an increasing of external ambient temperature of 5 ºC and not significant efficiency has been appreciate in the plant.

Does anybody have a reference value about:

-The increasing of temperature between outdoor and indoor temperature??

-The increasing of energy consumption of the Inverters fan´s.

I supposed that this two parameter are high dependent of weather conditions, but it would be helpful if somebody have a reference value.

    Best Regards
