Any suggestions how I can generate/ find a weather file for a few Costa Rican locations..?

I'm trying to download a weather file from the NREL Solar prospector and it downloads itself in a .gz format and when I try to convert it to .csv or.tm2 format, it becomes unusable and I'm unable to upload it to PVsyst. Could anyone provide a solution to that..?
