Similar question - I want to transfer my license. I didn't read the instructions prior to my machine being reimaged, so I did not deactivate on the original computer when I had a chance. It appears I now have a different HostID. The direct online activation with the activation key fails. "Computer identification failed" The external activation will not work with the activation key and new hostID. I can get a license file if I use the original hostID; however the final activation step gives me a "activation failed" error. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
