But when the system is operating even at low temperatures, is there really a point in calculating the Voc voltage?
In my opinion, at that stage the system is already in operating mode, so the voltage should be calculated based on Vmp, not under open-circuit conditions. That is, Voc can only be critical during system startup, and if the irradiance level is low, the system will transition into operating mode and everything will work properly.
Am I right in thinking that considering only the worst-case scenario is not always the best approach, and that it's important to find a compromise?
