  1. Hi Team, In one our sites which had just completed the construction we are facing a peculiar problem. The site top of pile elevations have not been done perfectly by the EPC and we are trying to gauge the impact of the same on the shading. We have adjusted the Tracker table heights as per the As-Built of the site and tried to import in PVsyst. Initial simulations indicate that there is no change in the Shading losses (both near shading and electrical shading). However, we think that in 1 tracker table the North to South orientation may not be perfect and may have different orientations considering the site topography. Does PVsyst has a way to consider this point in to the simulations for understanding the shading losses. If you see in the image, you can find that the trackers are not following the slope of natural terrain and they are placed in a manner that 1 tracker is 12"higher and the other lower. Regards, Vamsee
  2. Hi PVsyst Team, I hope this functionality is now available in the latest version of PVsyst. Can you confirm if its acceptable to design both CdTe and Bifcaial modules in 1 simulation. Also please can you let us know if Spectral Correction would be considered if we do in 1 simulation for First Solar modules. Additionally if you have any suggestions and recommendations on the method to simulate both CdTe and Bifcaial modules in 1 simulation please can you guide us. Regards, Vamsee
  3. Hi Michele, If we change the axis tilt spread, we are getting very erratic results. Moreover, when we are using terrain following trackers we expect the tilt spread would not be even, the comparison is being done with far East tracker with far West tracker table which its expected to have this difference. Thats the sole reason we are doing the 3D shading to assess the impact on the EYA and electrical shading. Again, sometime even without changing this parameter the shading scene is running. Please can you look in to this issue.
  4. Hi Team, This error seems to be there for every shading scene we do in version 7.4. When we use the same shading scene without any changes to the settings in version 7.3 the simulation runs. Further if we are changing the default settings in the “Settings > Edit advanced parameters” we are getting very erratic results. Please can you rectify this bug. Further checking these tables manually is also a big challenge. When using version 7.4. When using version 7.3 (no change in any settings)
