Hope it can be realized soon. The simulation can be sub-hourly based and user-defined: 10 min, 15 min or 30 min...
-
Li-ESS started following Output sub-hourly results , How is the 30 min time shift applied in the simulation? , PVsyst 8 - Subhourly new features and 7 others
-
Hi Linda, a general question, can PVsyst 8 also generate sub-hourly energy generation time series, if the custom file is also sub-hourly data? Kind regards
-
just note: the problem is solved by version 8.0.2

Test.avi Hi there, the 3D shading simulation works, but the recording animation as a video file has some problem. Only the first time the recording records the moving of Sun, the rest recodings didnt record the moving, as attached video. All video sizes and durations are tried. Kind regards

The link updated: Thank you all! Now I understand why the first year degradation is 0.2% or 0.15%, no matter LID is 0% or 1%.

the latest try for your reference, this a grid connected system. The difference is about 0.61%. Please correct me, if any thing wrong in the process. PVsyst Version 7.4.8 -

Or, the correct method is the 8th year Ya = EArray / Pnom, it doesn't need to use the 8-year average of EArray.

Dear all, I want to calculate a normalized value of average array output without loss (EArray) by Pnom [kWp] in the range 0 to 1, expected the results are the same as Ya / 24. But I found the results are not the same. How to calculate it correctly? For example, I ran the aging tool, selected 8 years for simulation and "generate output files" includes the variables "EArray" and "Ya". I copied and pasted the values of "EArray" and "Ya" in one excel, finally expected: for each hour, the SUM(EArray1 + ... + EArray8)/8/Pnom = Ya/24 Thank you in advance!

Hello PVsyst, I am an user of PVsyst. More customers ask us about a layout including transformators or complete substations. Therefore, we hope we can also choose different types of transformators so easily as choose PV inverters and making simulation in PVsyst. Moreover, we hope we can not only import the parameters, but 2D and 3D Model of the transformators also. As I known, some other Software can realize this kind of function now. What about PVsyst? Has PVsyst this kind of function already? or in plan or in development? Thank you very much in advance! Best regards!
