I would like to use PVsyst to calculate PV output for 100 sites for one year. All sites have the same system specification. I have 100 files of hourly solar irradiation and temperature data. I am looking for a means of automating this process. I have checked https://www.pvsyst.com/help/batch_mode.htm but I need a way of automating the input of the location and meteo files. I’ve investigated scripting of the meteo files and I believe they are UTF-8 encoded. If I encode 100 .MET files and make them available to PVsyst will this deliver the results I need? Has anyone else used PVsyst for large numbers of sites? I would be grateful for any comments, suggestions or advice.
