, you have the opportunity of defining Low-light efficiencies, and use them for the determination of the Rseries.
You can do these definitions in 2 different dialogs:

This is a difficult question as there are several ways or situations for defining these parameters.
The "Heavy" way ("Additional data" / "Low-light data") has been developed for situations when the full characteristics Isc, Voc, Vmp, Imp are available for several low-light points.
In this case the tool will calculate
the resulting low-light relative efficiencies
This should be used when you have full measured characteristics defined usually for one specific module.
Now after measuring one module, most of times you will want to extend the Low-light efficiency profile
to other modules of the same series. In these case only the 4 relative efficiencies are to be defined. This may be done either in the "Heavy" tool or in the "PVsyst model optimization" dialog. The manufacturers will have the opportunity of defining these values instead of the Rseries in the database.
If you have defined full data in the "Heavy" tool, you should find these values in the second dialog, but not modifiable.
If you define these values in the optimizing tool, you will retrieve them in the "Heavy" tool.
The "optimize Rs
" button is a "one shot" action: it only optimizes at the time you press it, and leave the opportunity of modifying the rserie afterwards.
If you check the box "Set Rs for optimizing
", this will enable the optimization according to Low-light at each opening (reading) of the module.
