shading area is far larger than the PV modules area

Hey guys,

when i create a sun shield (4sunshields with a vertical range of 3.30 m) i get after choosing the electrical system the error message:

"The shading area is far larger than the PV modules area... "

how can i fix it?

You have defined an area for positioning you modules, which is far greater than the PV modules themselves.

Therefore the shading calculation - which is referenced on the sensitive area - may not be accurate.

You can overcome this warning (or error) in the Hidden parameters, topic "Detailed Simulation Verification Conditions", item "Shadings: Absolute Maximum Shading/Field area Ratio".
