ShivamPandey Posted February 10 Posted February 10 We need to maintain the plant unavailability in the PVsyst loss diagram between 1.45% and 1.50%, with no flexibility on this requirement. Currently, we are adjusting the date and time to achieve the correct values. Do you have any alternative methods to reach these numbers? The unavailability time fraction and periods are fixed at 1.5% and 1, respectively.
Linda Thoren Posted February 10 Posted February 10 Hello, Unavailability can only be defined as a time fraction, not as a direct production loss. Consequently, the impact on production will be higher if unavailability occurs during peak production hours rather than at night. If your goal is to determine production loss due to system unavailability, you will need to adjust both the time fraction and the specific timing of the unavailability to accurately reflect the desired energy loss.

Is there a chance you would consider to add an option to add unavailability as direct production loss? A certain %, similar to spoiling losses.
Linda Thoren Posted February 12 Posted February 12 Hi, This is not on the road map at the moment. If you wish to have an unavailability in production loss, such as in soiling losses, you can indeed put the unavailability in the soling losses tool instead.
