Simulations variations & Incidence effect values (IAM)

I am currently comparing modules in simulation variations and have noticed something interesting.

The Canadian Solar CS6P-250P PAN file includes user defined IAM values.

When running a simulation variation using a different module after using the CS6P-250P PAN the detailed losses will retain the user defined IAM values that the Canadian Solar PAN file has.

As this is a measured value I think that if the PAN file doesn’t have user defined values then it should revert back to the default ASHRAE parametrization. It shouldn’t use IAM values that came from another PAN file.
