Marija Ch. Posted November 20 Posted November 20 Hello, I have problem creating a Tracking system in Near Shading after the 8.0.0 update. It seems that I can't connect my tables with the orientation I want. For example, I create a tracking orientation as following: In System I select the orientation I want: When I go to Near Shading, before going to Construction/Perspective the Orientation is the right one. The problem shows when I go in Zone Editing. In the Basic Parameters for my Field properties the Orientation I need is not available, even though I have "Create tracking fields" selected, so the program creates a new fixed one for me. If I go to New orientation.. an option for a tracking system is not available. What could be causing this? Can you please help? Best regards,
Jeremie Posted November 21 Posted November 21 Hello Marija, You cannot directly select a tracker orientation in the Field Properties of a zone you're creating in the Zone Editing tool. Instead, you have two options: Option 1: Create your zone with fixed tables. Either select an existing fixed orientation or create a new one. Afterward, select these fixed tables, and convert them to trackers using the menu option Transform > Convert fixed tables to trackers. Option 2: Check the box for "Create tracking fields" in the Zone Editing tool. Even though the template orientation displayed in the tool remains of type Fixed, the actual orientation of the created fields in the 3D scene will be of type Tracking. Following either of the above methods should solve your problem. If the issue persists or you need further clarification, feel free to reach out. Best regards,
