Partitions for 1 Portrait Half cut cell Tracker

What should be the correct approach for the partition of half-cut cell modules in tracker tables N-S?

I'm using Boviet Solar  Half cut cells . Portrait. 

 

For 1P at 4 strings (28m/s, 112 modules)

I assumed Partitions:

y=4 (# of string?), and

x= 2 (since half cut modules?)

 

For 1P at 3strings (28 m/s, 84 modules)? x and y.

 

I've read the PVsyst help regarding partitions but I'm still at lost. Kindly help.

yes you got it, x = 2 (because half-cut) and y = 3 (# of strings)

Follow up question. with a different scenario. What if I have a LANDSCAPE orientation 84 modules 3 string AT 28 module/string. What will be my partition for my x and y?
