bruman Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Hey,I want to transfer my Pv Syst. license to another laptop, but after entering my Customer ID, I always get the message "Deactivation failed, communication error". Now I am not really sure what is the problem ( Yes I have a available internet connection). I hope you can help me. Thanks in advance!

I didn't read the instructions prior to my machine being reimaged, so I did not deactivate on the original computer when I had a chance. It appears I now have a different HostID. The direct online activation with the activation key fails. "Computer identification failed"The external activation will not work with the activation key and new hostID. I can get a license file if I use the original hostID; however the final activation step gives me a "activation failed" error. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
