Module efficiency in temperature model

In the help file I read:

"When possible, the PV efficiency is calculated according to the operating conditions of the module. Otherwise it is taken as 10%. "

In the hidden parameters I find that the 10% has been changed to 15%, but the real question is: what does it mean "when possible"?

The PV efficiency may be used in several different situations within PVsyst.

- When used in the simulation, the Array temperature is known  (evaluated from Tamb and GlobInc, by iteration).

- In other  situations (tool for PV curves or PV model plots, other tools outside of the simulation, this is not known and we have to do an hypothesis.
