When you import a Meteonorm file using the "Import Meteo Data" tool, you can change the filename as you like, but indeed it doesn't memorize the Site name you have modified. This is a bug to be corrected. However you can change the site name in "Meteo tables and Graphs", and save the .MET file with your new site name.
