Athicha Posted May 2, 2019 Posted May 2, 2019 Hello,I designed solar rooftop in several orientations in Sketch up 2019 then imported to PVsyst .PVsyst generates negative tilt angle on PV panels for this reason I can't go on next steps ,what should I do??Please help ,Thank you in advance. https://scontent.fbkk5-4.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/59655164_2229937417322102_5587581787275526144_o.jpg?_nc_cat=103&_nc_ht=scontent.fbkk5-4.fna&oh=3fc73054b8860d719c5207e9f0a74b4e&oe=5D6721CAhttps://scontent.fbkk5-5.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/58745233_2229939940655183_369212740432035840_n.jpg?_nc_cat=100&_nc_ht=scontent.fbkk5-5.fna&oh=01485f793d55bea2d7af058c563e068b&oe=5D2E91FChttps://scontent.fbkk5-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/59400424_2229941647321679_903479141314068480_n.jpg?_nc_cat=109&_nc_ht=scontent.fbkk5-1.fna&oh=49338fd9273cdce6271b132890a8ddc1&oe=5D60F5F1
dtarin Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 Yes that is problem in PVsyst. You might need to manually place them, by first setting the azimuth to face that direction, and then set the tilt.
André Mermoud Posted July 22, 2019 Posted July 22, 2019 PVsyst doesn't manage negative plane tilts. A tilt of -25° towards an azimuth of -90° corresponds indeed to a tilt of +25° towards +90°. This erroneous generation takes place in the Sketchup import file. We will manage for correcting such a situation in a next version of PVsyst.
