edujim57 Posted January 3, 2019 Share Posted January 3, 2019 Hello everyone,If degradation is included in the simulation so as to calculate the output for a specific year, why PVsyst considers the same LID loss factor in year X as in year 0? As I can see the different variants, LID is counted every year and, in my opinion, that is false. Has anyone solved this? André Mermoud Posted January 12, 2019 Share Posted January 12, 2019 The LID is an initial degradation of the PV module's performance, arising during the first hours of exposition. It is obviously not "recovered" at the end of the first year ! The degradation is permanent, this means that it has indeed to be applied to each simulation for each year.
