cwatmore Posted January 3, 2013 Share Posted January 3, 2013 I am unable to increase the number of modules in series beyond 24 even though the Vmpp is well below the maximum inverter operating voltage. I am getting an error in red stating "Array area exceeds specified maximum available area" although I have not specified a maximum available area. André Mermoud Posted January 6, 2013 Share Posted January 6, 2013 During sizing, the maximum voltage limits are to be applied to the Voc voltage, not Vmp (voltage in open circuit at low temperature) ! If you have defined a maximum area in your sizing conditions ("Presizing Help" box), the program will check it and warn you. You can simply increase this value if it doesn't correspond to your reality, or put it at 0 for ignoring it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
