Dennis Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 Hi,I wanted to simulate the difference between portrait and landscape orientation of the modules.3D simulation, 20° tilt, same distance between the rows for both variants (4 m), 10 shedes/tables in a rowString layout: 3 strings in high (3 modules)The result had no difference for both variants. I expected the landscape variant to be a bit better, since the shading losses should be smaller (60 cell module, 3 diodes).Anything made wrong in the simulation layout?
Dkraemer Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 Is it possible that you simply do not have any shading at that Pitch in either orientation? No row to row shading should result in the same values.
Dennis Posted February 14, 2018 Author Posted February 14, 2018 Hi, I simulated a plant in Germany, so I should have a lot of shadow ;) I would agree for a plant near the equator.
Soldnerkugel Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 Anything made wrong in the simulation layout?most probably: yesbut it is very hard to figure out what is wrong without having detailed information. Is it possible that you upload the reports of both simulation versions here?
