ajinkyabhinge Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 How do you update the solar panels database? Because no data is available for Indian Manufacturers of panels. e.g. Vikram Solar, Waree etc. Also there is one more manufacturer missing which is not Indian,i.e. Australian Premium Solar (APS). One more popular module in India is Zytech from Spain. Can you please add these manufacturer's panels in the database in the next update?
André Mermoud Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 We update the database using the requests of the manufacturers, and publish it with each new issue of PVsyst. We can't of course follow all the new products of all manufacturers. It would be very big task, and we don't want to include data without the acknowledgement of the manufacturer. Therefore pleae ask these manufacturers for taking contact with us at support@pvsyst.com.

guddu11 Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 I want to update my solar panel but I haven't enough knowledge about this. Can anyone guide me?
Lazare Fesnien Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 Hi, We update the database using the requests of the manufacturers, and publish it with each new issue of PVsyst. We can't of course follow all the new products of all manufacturers in the world. We don't want to include data without the acknowledgement of the manufacturer. Nevertheless you can easily create your own components by yourself. The easiest way is to choose a similar existing device in the database, modify its parameters according to the manufacturer's datasheets, and save it under a new name, therefore creating a new file in your database. You have a tutorial for that on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/c/PVsystTutos, page Component databaseWith best regards,
